LOOKING INTO “ANFAMA RUINS”. RATIONALITIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LANDSCAPE IN TUCUMAN PIEDMONT
Keywords:

This paper aims to investigate the distributional trends of the structures that make up the archaeological landscapes of the Anfama basin, in the province of Tucuman. Understanding that each landscape is a historically contingent social product, from a long-term perspective, we approached different occupational moments of the last two millennia in order to infer the underlying logics in the configuration of each one of them. The results obtained from the application of nearest neighbor analysis allowed us to establish general trends in the ways in which human groups have configured and inhabited the landscapes in Anfama.
